Natsukashi~!!

I was thinking I should update my blog since its been a few days, and plus if I don't do it now while I have the time, I doubt I will in the next couple days...I wanna get better at this and stay on top of keeping it up to date! The term "easier said than done" definitely applies.

I think this next blog is really just for my sake. I am feeling a little nostalgic looking through old pictures...

Lately, I have had a lot of friends getting married/engaged. My best friend Malorie, aka Oak, recently tied the knot a couple months ago. We've been the greatest of friends with such a funny beginning story. First day of math class, not really knowing each other, we walked in and sat on opposite sides of the room. Malorie then remembered me from eating together at lunch a few times in 8th grade, so she invited me to sit with her. (Later in our friendship, she told me she was using me because she had no one to sit with...haha what a great way to start a friendship, right??) From then on we were inseparable. Mr. P and Mr. Barlow can attest to that--They both made their seating arrangements so we were on opposite sides of the room because we would talk too much. 9th grade was definitely the greatest year of my life so far. We've been through a lot throughout our friendship, rough times and fun times. I really miss the times we had back when we didn't have a care in the world! I can't believe I'm posting some of these pictures...but each one tells such a funny story!

Oh my goodness, we were the BIGGEST Peter Pan fans haha so after getting out of the movie, Malorie had to take a picture of the poster on the wall.
I don't know why we thought this was funny, but we decided to be pirates with a food item for the eye patch...?!? haha I really don't know, don't ask. I think this was at EFY.

We were going to be sad in this picture because Caitlin, aka Polo, was moving away. We had a photo shoot trying to get the perfect one and I was getting sick of it, so I guess I went a different direction with the "sad face".

Ninth grade, Lagoon day...This was probably right before Malorie peed...

I had to stay in Park City all day to take care of Kumi in between her dance classes, so Malorie, being the lovely girl she is, decided to accompany me. It was such a fun day window shopping and going down the slide.
This is when Mal locked my keys in the car at Bob's Brainfreeze...

Graduation with my best friends!!

Our awkward double date...

Random BBQ in the summer.

And finally, Mal's wedding. Just watching her, she seems so happy starting her new life! What an adventure.

My best buddy (since 9th grade when he and Chris sang to me and the girls at Lagoon with frozen-lemonade tainted voices) is getting married in just about a month. We had the most fun times--always having handstand contests in the basement, playing sandwich with the love sacs, drinking pure snow cone juice, fiddling with the baday toilets...the list goes on and on.

He's been dating his future wifey for the past few years, and they still can't get enough of each other. Its really been an eye opener about my life and what I'm doing with it. Not saying I want to get engaged or married anytime too soon, but its definitely been in the back of my mind...It seems like everyone is always one step ahead of me. I'm having a hard time keepin' up!!

...man, life changes so quickly, its ridunkulous. My friend Ronnie, who is very near and dear to my heart, comes home in 15 days. Oh, I cannot describe in words how excited I am. This kid, bless his heart, has been with me through thick and thin. He's been such an example to me and has always pushed me to be a better person. I have seen his testimony grow so much through all his letters over these past 2 years. He is such a spiritual giant! The more I talk about it, the more I just get so giddy about his homecoming. I know he will truly return with honor.

I can't believe how quickly these past 2 years flew by...
